The Pasture

I'm going out to clean the pasture spring;
I'll only stop to rake the leaves away
(And wait to watch the water clear, I may):
I shan't be gone long. -- You come too.

I'm going out to fetch the little calf

oh man.... I may think im able to read between the lines but me trying to read between these lines is starting to giv me headache.

I noe you wun be gone long.... go clean the pasture or fetch the calf.... but y are u asking me to come along too?
